The focus for this client was exception processing . The exception processing service needed new features to satisfy customer demands. At the heart of the service was a document imaging system. A significant challenge existed with the platform for the imaging system. Was it cost effective to implement new features on a platform nearing the end of it’s life cycle?
ORCA was charged with dual roles, business analyst and project manager.
We initiated an assessment of the service by gathering information from users, business units and management. After completing our analysis of this data we presented findings to management. Service management charged us with being the advocate to develop and present the business case to senior management securing funding for the next generation service offering. This was in addition to providing a select set of new features for the existing service in the interim.
ORCA was successful in securing funding for interim enhancements and development of the next generation exception processing service offering.
