Business Analysis
This multi-year project began as a Year 2000 assessment and remediation assignment. We were responsible for developing the District’s plan and managing the implementation to satisfy compliance.
Several challenges were encountered:
- Tight schedule
- Need for complete inventory
- Lack of district resources
- Classroom Coordination
A plan was developed to use a combination of students and temporary staff to conduct the inventory. This satisfied a couple of objectives: provide summer employment for high school students and mentoring through the use of trained temporary staff.
The assessment, remediation and management was so successful, we were retained to evaluate the Technical Services Department.
Working with the Director, we developed a new structure maximizing resources and providing improved service levels to the classrooms and administration.
